Highland Home School will prepare students academically, socially, and emotionally to function successfully in society with a positive, caring attitude about themselves and their community. This will be accomplished by providing a flexible, life-related, working curriculum in a secure, safe environment with professional, caring and cooperative staff.

About Highland Home School

Highland Home School is rich in its educational history, once serving the area as Highland Home Institute and then, after its incorporation, as Highland Home College from 1889 until 1915. Located in Northern Crenshaw County Highland Home School presently serves as one of three public schools within the Crenshaw County School District.
